A band, consisting of 2 pairs of brothers, formed within Lanigan, Saskatchewan in 1989. A members were guitar player Ryan Dahle and Todd Kerns, bassist John Kerns and drummer Kurt Dahle. Ryan, Todd & Kurt completely contributed vocals too.

AOE were one of a virtually all commercially successful American rock group of the mid-90s. Their commercial breakthrough come by using their independent EP Horrible within 1994, which spawned several hits & placed a stage for the major label release of The Age of Electric car inside 1995.

Within 1996, a Dahle brothers freed an album using the side plan Limblifter, which was also commercially successful inside Canada.

AOE so regrouped for Produce the Pest the Pet inside 1997. Although the album was a hit, tensions inside a band led the class action to decompose fallowing a 1999 tour as a opening band for Our Lady Peace.
